YouTube Is Fucking with Us Again!!!

Well, just today, YouTube has made another new change in how the videos play.

It use to be, that the bar at the bottom of the video was white, and as the pointer moves, it leaves a red trail behind it, but ahead of the pointer, a light pink trail would be buffering before it.

Also, most videos would play without pausing, while some would pause, depending on the quality of the video. Of course, you could let it buffer before playing it, and it would only take about a minute to buffer, and even while playing the video, it would still play without pausing even if the pointer was beyond the pink buffer zone.

But now, the bar at the the bottom is black, and it pops up with the mouse hovers over the video, but moves down and disappears when the mouse is moved off the video.

Also, the video pauses when it reaches the end of the buffer zone, and you have to wait for it to buffer some more before you can play the rest of the video.

If you want to play the whole length of the video without any pauses, you have to wait for it to completely buffer before you can play it. The buffering zone is now light gray instead of pink as it use to be.

OK, here the problem.

To play a 5 minute video without any pauses, you have to wait about 10 minutes for it to buffer.

This is to discourage people from streaming music, I guess.

You have to wait about 20 minutes for a 10 minute song to buffer if you want to play it without pausing.

It really sucks when you want to listen to music, and it pauses, for a moment of silence. I guess that's a new Christian thing now. Eh? Let's have a moment of silence. Eh?

Gee! Am I being too cynical?

Now, if I want to watch an hour's worth of educational videos on science (which Christians hate) I have to wait with a total of 2 hours of buffering, to watch an hour's worth of videos.

Also, if you don't wait for it to buffer, the videos plays for a few seconds, then pauses for a few seconds, than plays for a few more seconds, and then pauses for a few more seconds over and over again and again.

PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, PLAY, PAUSE, ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC.

Yeah! It's now going to take me twice as long to add new Playlists to my YouTube channel, because I like to watch each video in it's entirety before I favor it to a Playlist.

I'm am going to go insane!

I am being pushed to the edge!

Yeah! PUSH! PUSH! PUSH! KEEP ON PUSHING! PUSH! PUSH! PUSH!

Then I'm going to go out and set fires to all the sports arenas and all the churches until I'm arrested, or the cops shoot me!

If I can't watch my favorite science videos anymore without the 10 second pauses every 5 seconds or so, then the rest of you Americans have no right to your sports and your religions.

Tit for tat, and all that!

The quality of YouTube has been diminished, making it less enjoyable to watch videos.

This is just another subtle form of censorship.

Well, I guess we can always watch football on TV instead! Eh?

Just let me watch my science videos and listen to music without any interference! Please!

The people who own YouTube, I will even get down on my knees and kiss their feet, if they would just restore YouTube back to the way it was so the videos would play without pausing.

OK, I heard on the NEWS this morning that the politicians in Washing DC want to completely cut Social Security, SSI, Medicaid/Medicare and that possibly next month we won't get our checks anymore.

You sure it wasn't just one of those times YouTube was being slow buffering the videos? I checked today and every video I played loaded extremely quickly. But I have had times where I've had to wait ten minutes for a five minute video. Could just happen to be one of those times for you.

OK guys here's an update.

The next day when I went back to YouTube, they must have fixed the problem because now, the videos don't pause anymore.

Well, at least most of them don't while some videos might pause once in a while. A lot depends on the quality of the videos.

But on the day that all this shit was happening with the pausing all the time, I had an emotional breakdown. I wanted to scream!

I'm tired of getting mind-fucked!

I am not potatoes and corn! I have eyes that see, and I have ears that hear!

And I also have a mouth that and shout and scream out really loud, and cuss and swear.

And I have hands that can hold a gun.

Of course, my left hand is all crippled up because my left wrist was fractured in a violent machete attack by my ex-room-mate who was fucked up on Viagra (advertised by spammers ) after he had his second stroke.

I'm left handed and my left hand is all fucked up. I can't do oil paintings anymore, and I can't play the guitar anymore. But I can still hold a gun in my left hand and pull the trigger, and I can hold a lead pipe in my left hand and bash in a skull. I just can't do anything artistic and creative anymore with my left hand. And no, I'm not going to switch to using my right hand in compliance to the ol' time ultra-conservative religious standards. Like a Taryton Smoker in the old cigarette commercials back in the 1960s, I would rather fight than switch!

And also, even though I have arthritis in both knees and ankles, and can't run, or walk for really long distances, I can still kick stupid morons in the testicles and knock their teeth out with my cane!

The people who are running this country (into the ground) they must think we're all potato-heads!

Over the past three years, there has been many instances of YouTube channels, educational channels on science, paleontology, biology, and evolution that had been shut down, because some Funny-mentalist Christard cyber-bully filed false DMCA claims against some channels, and falsely flagging videos as being inappropriate for minors, and using vote-bots to cast multiple down-thumb votes to reduce the ratings of a channel.

We have religious cyber-bullies who have been harassing many YouTube users to get their educational channels shut down, and sometimes that have been successful, and the owners of the channels had to fight legal battles to get their channels re-instated again.

So, YouTube users have been plagued by religious cyber-bullies, just like some of us on these anti-sports forums are being harassed by sports-loving cyber punks, like, your butt-buddy, Fit Shit!

The youtube video format changes have never really bothered me for 7 years I've used it except no loop feature but "endlessvideo" feels that function. Which is the same reason why I don't like the youtube's playlist feature, you'd think it would definitely have the loop feature but nope it doesn't have it either.

Has the quality of the average Youtube viewer deteriorated?

I'm not talking about anyone here, but there's some real crap on Youtube these days. I'm thinking of publishing some math tutorials, but I don't know whether anyone would take them seriously if I did, though, so I'm hesitant.

I've also heard some alarming things about how organizations can identify you from your picture nowadays, so I probably won't appear in my own videos.

What do people think?

I'm thinking about building up my presence on YouTube, but I'm wondering if it's worth it.
