When was the last time a sports fan didn't feel the need push sports on others, in the hopes of "converting" us like it's some kind of religion, when there's plenty of sports websites they can post messages on?

Unless your job includes algebra(I imagine there's very few of them) when would you ever use algebra in the real world? ever?

Im not trying to convert anyone to liking sports, that's not my problem with people here.

You using classical music to make a point about culture today is moot because classical music is irrelevant in todays society.

You guys claim to be open minded about everything yet you're so homophobic about everything in sports. Seems like some insecure, hypocritical people to me.

Oh and BTW, how can we be "homophobic" about something that sports fans swear up and down isn't gay? Unless of course we were right all along.
Why do you feel the need to call something like that gay? You guys are supposed to be so mature and grown up and out of sports, am i right?

I didn't think mature people made gay jokes

Well I hate rap, but I do like classical music and old genres like that.
But one question: Why have you joined a sports hater forum when you are a sports lover? That makes no sense whatsoever!

by I old i meant 60/70s, stuff like that.

And I joined to argue the points you guys are so far off base on regarding sports. It's one thing not to like em, but some of you are crazy.

good job

Ignore all the valid points I made against you, instead focus on some little thing and call me a typical sports ass.

You guys value education and learning over sports so much, yet I see way more bad grammar here than on any sports message board(an exception being the ESPN boards)

and this is a very, very small sample size.

I haven't attacked anyone or called anyone nerdy or anything like that, like a lot of sports fans that come in here. Alls I've done is make solid points and you guys come back with nothing.

I expected more.

Well look at you Sir Noperiodsandnocapitals! See who has the bad grammar now?
And has it ever come to you that they use COMPUTERS for the scoreboards, not stupid ass jocks? Computers have a thing called "SPELLCHECK" and there's a site called "DICTIONARY.COM"! I highly doubt that ESPN actually uses long, complex sentences such as those written in books like Dead Haunted.

 it was all one sentence buddy, therefore I needed no capitals or periods. You were reaching, but it was a good try.

What are you talking, about the scoreboard? Your post doesn't even make sense.

I was talking about sports message boards having much better grammar overall than here. Scoreboards usually show just numbers too. I know you wouldn't know that.

Way to agree with me on my point about the message board at ESPN.com having bad grammar.

Don't you get it, though? They use editors! EDITORS! They probably couldn't write much better than my Social Studies teacher - who spelt "harsh" as "harsch". Editors are the reason why the sports "news" have good grammar and such. So far, I haven't seen exactly 5 star grammar from you.
Well, to end the dispute with me, I suggest that if you don't like what we believe in, you should start being more open-minded you narrow-headed ass.

I'm not open minded? That's funny coming from you guys.

You post things and you have no facts to support them with. Sports writers are journalists, they went through all the schooling. They wouldn't have a job with a large mainstream paper/website if they weren't good.

And you think sports writers are the only ones that have editors? Ha.

and if I dont like what you believe in, I'm being close minded? Every valid point I make is answered with "typical sports ass" or something along those lines. I brought up how sports helped people escape national disasters for just a few hours, and even then you guys couldn't admit that sports helped out some in that case. And I'm the narrow minded one? Your guys hatred of sports runs so deep it's insane.
