It's the same here in Tampa. The only thing I can think of is that someone paid the editor to have their "story" placed on the front page.
yeah, that's it.

Somebody complained about that in the Letters section a few years ago. (I even checked to see if that was you!

) Apparently nothing has changed since then.

Wow --you have a good memory! Yep, nothing has changed. We still live in a dark, corrupt world where what we read is determined by greed and shadowy, secret deals behind closed doors.
It reminds me of how the world was in the movie, Back to the Future, when the Old Biff stole the DeLorean time machine and gave the evil sports almanac to himself just before he goes to the dance at the end of the first movie. And then, when Doc and Marty return to 1985, they find that Biff has used the almanac's records to bet on sports and make billions of dollars, which allowed him to turn Courthouse Square into a giant casino and Hill Valley into a crime-ridden slum.

I know. Few things happen by accident and the placement of sports articles isn't one of them.

You're delusional. When I first came to this board I thought you actually had some valid arguments but over time I've come to find that all your opinions and arguments are based and stereotypes and pure bias against sports. No respect for you as a poster.

What are you smoking, and where can I get some? How many articles have we brought here proving you wrong and how many of them have you read?

You really want me to go dig up a bunch of articles about athletes doing good?
I actually may do it one day soon just out of spite, but you guys are just going to say, "Ok that's good but he did it for his reputation", or "Yeah but those are only just a few athletes". Never mind the fact that articles you guys post are just a few athletes. Don't let facts get in the way though.

1. Pure lie!
2. Good ole' Lewis has brought dozens of articles, that isn't "a few" besides, Ray has brought one up several in one post.
3. If only athletes weren't noticed for their athleticism then they wouldn't have gotten noticed in the first place.
4. Stop talking about "good" when you only brought one article that gets countered by 3.

Wow you're catching on. Yeah, we are biased against sports, get over it. Stereotypes? You mean non-sporting people aren't stereotyped by sports fans and players? You're the delusional one!

This forum can be quite entertaining at times. Mrs. Earl gets a laugh out of these exchanges.
