OK, I admit that this is just one small insignificant little anti-sports forum which now has only 160 members, while all of the sports forums have thousands of members, so we are out-numbered.

But the truth is, there are more and more people out there in the USA who are concerned about the ever declining quality of education in our schools, and how sports is contributing to the to that decline because our schools place too much emphases on competitive sports while not placing enough emphases on academics.

There are also a number of anti-bullying web sites out there on the internet and forums that had thousands of members.

So, despite our forum being rather small we are part of a growing movement.

This web site forum needs more publicity.

Anyway, I'm very happy that I found this forum. We are almost like a family here. The only reason we allow morons like you to be on our forum is because morons need to be shown the truth about what is coming down. You need to be shown where the proverbial bear shits in the proverbial buckwheat!

If we can cause more people to become aware of our forum, then we are helping ourselves.

So, why should we be shut down?

Why don't you just go and join all the zoo-tramps over at 4chan? I'm sure you'll feel at home with your own kind.

The only thing that needs to be shut is your big mouth.

He's a sports bore, sparkle. Having a different opinion is a heinous crime by his standards, particularly when said opinion should go against his own. If we're so small and insignificant then how is "shutting us down" going to make any real difference to anything? I really can't stand people who can't learn to accept a bit of opposition. Sports are not flawless. They have faults, like everything else. Yet observing and discussing these faults can't be done when people like this guy are around!

Are the forum admins going to see fit to use one of the "Spammer" avatars suggested by the members in the Forum Ranks topic in the "Off-Topic" forum? Or am I asking too much? I did have my suspicions about Kevin_Boss. Any member who signed up on Thursday 4th February is/was a 4chan spammer. Guaranteed. (Oh and john, who signed up the day before.)

But seeing as how the 4channers are using the Forum Games section to launch their latest set of heated verbal attacks I don't think refusal to validate new accounts is doing much good. Well, there's only so much we can do.

Oh, and I noticed the entire topic "Fat Man is right" got deleted! I don't see why. That thread wasn't what I would class as spam - it had some sort of a meaning to it and I was able to get through to one of the 4channers (I think). It's not my choice which threads stay or go but I don't see what was to gain from getting rid of that one.

Besides, I'm trying to build up my post count here! At least support me with that! My kind services can be very easily withdrawn, you know.

Well, I have some more information.

I was going to let this go, but I felt the need to bring this up.

Back on March 20, I got a letter in my E-mail which was the closest thing to an apology.

But now, I have second thoughts.

Well, it is kind so scary that they can somehow get my personal information, like my
phone number or my residential address. The only places were I have ever entered
my residential address or phone number was when I had ordered books, music CDs,
movie DVDs, or computer software from web sites like Amazon for example, or other
web sites where I have ordered books.

In the meantime I have closed my account with Amazon. So now I'm afraid to order
anything on line anymore if these people are able to hack in and get that kind of
information on me.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, I believe that it is illegal to post someone's personal contact
information on an open website.

I had been receiving harassing phone calls, and I had been getting billed for sports
magazines that I did not order, and I had a charge on my bank account for something
that I did not order, so I had to call my bank to get a new debit card, and I eventually
got those charges and the over-draft charges refunded back to me.

fatman, are those rankings of general(all levels of education) scores or middleschool/junior high or high-school or university level? I know in elementary school our rankings are pretty high, back when kids are actually interested in doing their best. Our highschool kids are laughable though.

I believe these are the rankings at the high school level. There are a lot of students who have graduated from high school who can't even read beyond the 5th or 6th grade level. It's pathetic!

People who graduate from college obviously rank much higher. One does have to make high grades if one is to graduated with a college degree. For example, if one has graduated from a university with a PhD in physics, in order to get that degree, you have to make high marks in science and math.

So, this obviously has to be the rankings of how our high schools compare to high schools in other countries.

Unfortunately, most high school students today would not make it in college. Not unless they take remedial math courses and improve their reading skills.

I often don't respond to some messages I get from others just because I don't really have much to say that I haven't said already, and I don't see much of a need in sending a near-empty message. So I wouldn't assume that he is a troll just because he didn't respond. His original message seemed genuine, and that's the only information we have on him. He gave advice that I agree would work, and that's all I know about this person, so I can't assume that he is a jock or troll.

I strongly doubt the 4channers were responsible for debit card problems - we already know that it was ZML.com that were responsible for your latest online banking disaster. As for the first time I'm not so sure but I don't see how it is possible they could get your debit card number and make unwanted purchases using your information. This is why I prefer not to get much stuff on the internet unless it is from well-known and renowned websites like eBay or Play.com and even on eBay you get the odd scumbag who won't deliver your goods. I suppose it's better to get the stuff you want IRL than over the computer as you never know what exactly the motives of the other person/company may be...

A couple of months back I was left harassing YouTube comments by some 4chan trolls who also had profiles on the YouTube site. I deleted all of their shit and delivered some insulting comments back myself. Back then I was eager for a bit of a scrap; I suppose it was slightly more satisfying than letting them use me as an online punching bag. Recently, a few weeks back, one of the /sp/artan trolls stuck a comment on my YouTube profile, which is still there, I think. So I decided to give him a rather nice response to return the favour; I appreciate it when people think of me. Except his profile was set so that he could read all profile comments before letting them appear on his profile; unlike my own profile which just lets them appear without my approval. My response never appeared on his profile, unsurprisingly. Yet I was browsing the internet last night and came across the words of my comment in a Google search result for the /sp/ board at 4chan! I remembered it instantly. I knew it would resurface somewhere! I clicked on the link to have a look at what he and his buddies had to say about it but I just got the usual 404 error screen. Shame that their threads aren't permanent like ours. It's all about timing with them; getting the goodies while they're still around! So, a bit of a failure. Nonetheless it was interesting. I shall miss that comment but I'm sure this /sp/orts bore's work with me is not quite done yet.
