How can a girl possibly be expected to do that? Is it really that important to have someone cheer for an athlete that they are willing to completely destroy the dignity of a human being for that purpose? Apparently so. There's so many things that are horribly wrong in that case, and it really isn't difficult to argue that many of those problems are a result of the sports culture. If the school administrators didn't think that athlete should be invulnerable to criticism (despite the fact that he's a rapist), the cheerleader wouldn't be forced to cheer for him or leave the team.
Yeah, and to make matters worse, she has to pay $45,000 dollars in court costs, so her life is pretty much fuck up. She was probably a good student, with high grades and was probably looking forward to going to college after graduating high school. I'm merely speculating, of course.
But now, she probably can't get a loan to cover the cost of going to a university, because she has this major debt to pay off so her life is pretty much put on hold.
Yeah, I was thinking about what
Fit Shit posted last night.

You whine and bitch and moan about all supposed injustices you faced in your past and use that as an excuse for why you just sit on your ass all day instead of making a difference in the world. EVERYBODY had to deal with bullies, Fat Shit. Everyone. It's how we deal with the shit that happens in our lives that set us apart. Most people push through it and make something of themselves. An extreme example would be Bill Gates. There's no doubt he was the nerdy guy always picked on in school. But look where he is now. Then there's the average Joe, like myself. Yes, I was picked on. Hell, when I was a freshman in Cross Country football players always tried to intimidate us, and one even almost put me into his football locker. But guess what? I DEALT WITH IT. On the other you, YOU just whine and complain and blame your past as a reason why you're just a lazy piece of shit right now. Doesn't work that way. Don't act like you're the only one to have shit happen to you. You're just weak-willed and unable to pull through hard times, obviously.
I would like to see
Fit Shit say that to the girl who was raped by the basketball player, that she should "stop whining" and "get over it" or some shit like that.
Oh my! Don't ya just love these standard old clichés!!!
No, this goes way beyond mere bullying and name calling. Getting raped is a very traumatic event. I should know, because when I was 17 years old, I was beaten and raped by an older man. I became withdrawn, I didn't want to leave my room, I didn't feel like going out. I didn't know how to deal with it. This was back in 1969, back when nobody believed that a guy could get raped.
Now we know better. But back than, I could not get the psychological counseling that I needed. The shrinks just prescribed tranquilizers and sent me home, so I had to live with the memories and the nightmares. I was emotionally and mentally fucked up in the head, and that is why when I turned 18 my parents filed a disability claim on my behalf and why I started receiving SSI. Yeah, what is know as the "crazy check"! Uh huh!
Also, the part about being unable to pull through hard times, well, that student who was raped, and who has to pay $45,000 dollars in court costs, she's going to have to pull through some hard times ahead trying to pay off that debt. So, her life is put on hold.
No, what happened to me went way beyond merely being "picked on", like getting beaten and raped, and denied an education.
We don't all have the same life's experiences. Some of us have had it worse than others!
Some of us have had worse than name calling or just being picked on!
Try getting beaten and raped, and try not being allowed to attend school!!!
Bill Gates was never beaten and raped, and he was never kicked out of school. So, there's a big difference there.
How does one "pull through hard times" when being denied an education, when not being allowed to go back to school to finish one's education?
Go fuck yourself
Fit Shit because you don't know what the Hell your talking about!
