What were we talking about? Donny Osmond?

I don't know much about HIM but his sister still looks pretty good.

Let me explain. On the previous page in the ninth post (counting down from the top), Sergey attached a picture of some comic book character I know nothing about called the Beyonder. In the very next post, I say that he looks like Donny Osmond (which, in fact, he does, at least in that picture). (Donny Osmond is someone I used to make fun of when he started his pop singing career in the early 1970s. I'm talking bubble-gum pop. You know, great lyrics such as "they call it puppy love ..." ) Three posts down in another picture attached by Sergey, however, he no longer looks like Donny Osmond. Hence, the reference to Donny Osmond.

I remember that.. back in the day.. Bobby Sherman and Donny Osmond.

Oh, yes. The incomparable Bobby Sherman! "Julie, Julie, Julie, do ya love me? Julie, Julie, Julie, do ya care?" No.

oh yeah, I remember that. That was a big hit in... 1971? The girls in my neighborhood had Bobby Sherman's picture pasted all over their walls. I wonder where that guy is today.

That show has nothing to do with this Earl. I had never even heard of it before until two days ago when I saw it listed as I was channel surfing on our cable provider. I don't even know what it's about.
