International I Hate Sports Club

Hi everyone,
I've missed venting on the forum for the past month or so, I had to have eye surgery on the 13th of April to relieve pressure from glaucoma. The trouble is that the eye operated on was my only useful eye and the vision has been coming back very slowly, I'm only now able to use the keyboard and see the monitor. It feels good to be back with all of my fellow sports haters!

I was wondering what had happened to you. Sorry you had to undergo eye surgery, but your vision has been saved. Welcome back!!! Feel free to rant or enlighten us! That's what we're here for.

I wonder what some jock would (think?) if some day he had a (brain?) tumor that could have been fatal, and the doctor who saved his life by removing the tumor was the very same nerd or geek that went to the very same high school, and was the very same nerd or geek that he had bullied around in school.

I think that all jocks need to be taught that the geek you bully around today might be the one who saves your life in the future.

Anyway, I'm so glad you have recovered from your eye surgery, and as you had said before, thank God some people want to become doctors instead of jocks.

I think Impolite 99 seriously needs to re-examine the time when he once said the following . . . . .
