Well, I finally got my 2x Barlow lens from High Point Scientific.

Yeah! First I had to bitch and gripe to my bank to get my $30 dollars refunded back into my bank account, after Google Wallet had canceled my order.

When I got my $30 dollar refund, I called High Point Scientific, and place my order by phone.

I'm never going to use Google Wallet ever again.

Anyway, my 2x Barlow lens arrived this last Tuesday afternoon.

Now, I have just one little problem . . . . . The diameter of the Barlow lens is too large to fit into the eyepiece mount.

So, I'm going to have to make an adapter to connect the Barlow lens to the focusing tube of my telescope.

No big deal, I've done this sort of thing before.

Tomorrow, I'm going take my Barlow lens with me and go to Home Depot and look for a piece of either metal tubing or that white PVC pipe the right diameter on the inside to make the adapter, and then I'll spray paint it flat black so it looks nice when attached to my telescope.

However, I also have a burning question that I've had for some time now: Fat Man, you've asserted several times in this thread that you were denied an education; and yet you also mentioned that you went to college for a few years. In another thread you told me that while you were in college, you took several science classes, a math class (i.e., trig), and you even managed to knock out those ridiculous P.E. requirements. That sounds like at one point in your life you were able to rise above your lousy education and pursue your dream of becoming an astronomer. So, my question is, How did being suspended from school when you were nine, being thrown against a brick wall when you were in the fifth grade, having an evil coach try to break your ribs with a basketball, and having an idiot who showed you cartoons instead of teaching you biology keep you from finishing college? No, there should be a law, that a physically handicapped student can not be suspended or expelled from school simply for failing in PE, and physically handicapped student should be exempt from PE.

Also, anyone who assaults someone with a physical handicap should get life in prison.

There are jobs that physically handicapped people can't do, so physically handicapped students need to get a decent education for the type of jobs they can do.
