An interesting article --nothing new but it's nice to know we're not the only sane ones on the planet!

I hope he's exaggerating about games lasting 3 to 8 hours. If there are games that typically last 8 hours, I don't want to know about them.

No games last eight hours

I posted this a while ago. I remember it. You put it up in the Links section (I think it was Links), Ray, but then took it down, for some reason.

Although it's mostly obvious satire, there are bits of truth in it.

Did I? I've forgotten if I did. Maybe the link went dead or something. I occasionally check to make sure there's no dead links. But one of our members sent in the link by e-mail so I reposted it.

And they're not MUCH less than 8 hours. I think. I don't think I've ever timed one but I know when a game comes on I know I might as well do something else for the next few hours.

Most games are between 2 and 3 hours. Pretty close to 8. Actually, not really.

In any society, the people who refuse to be sheep are always in the minority. I savor being in the minority, that's the part you will never understand, I LOVE hating sports, I look back on my life and think of things that I've done that I wouldn't have if I had wasted my time watching and playing stupid games with a ball. It's you I feel sorry for my friend. Only those of us in the minority can see so much of this big world, so go back to your "majority" and graze with the rest of the sheeple. Baaaahhhhhh!
