My fault

Before I read any recent posts, I haven't been on because my computer was running bad and it had to get fixed. I say that because I know Fat Man had something he wanted me to read and I'm probably catching a lot of heat in some thread because I haven't done it.

Fat Man, I have no idea where that link is, if you could direct me to it I'll read what you wanted to show me.

It's on page 9 of the topic titled Last thing you Watched/Read.

Here's a direct link to page 9 of the topic.

Just scroll down the page until you get to my book review of the science fiction novel NOAH II.

It's almost at the bottom of the page.

Sorry to hear that your computer was on the fritz.

Yeah, I guess I can sympathize because it really sucks to be without a computer.

Well, that explains it.

But what's this? Fat Man... being nice to P24? I think the world's coming to an end! What I mean is Old Testament. Real wrath-of-God-type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes! Volcanoes! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!

Well, he can't help it if his computer was on the fritz.

It can happen to anybody, so in that case, he does have an excuse.

So, I'm not like a gym coach.

I was once suspended from school because I fail to climb a rope in the gymnasium. The fact that my left knee was injured in a car accident was no excuse. I got suspended anyway.

But if he does not keep his promise and read my book review, and give me his opinion of it, then he will be without excuse.

I don't excuse people for being morons.

Welcome back. I can't believe how dependent we are on PCs. When I was your age, there weren't any; and the microchip hadn't been invented yet. I was wondering if you were buried under a ton of schoolwork or if you had become disheartened by some of us. I'm glad you weren't. While you were away, because of the new low-level registration for the forum games board, we soon found ourselves with a mystery poster (whom I think was The1982Channel) who went by different usernames from "Harold" to "I like 1981" to "I like 1980" and went over to the Sportingnews website to submit "stupid posts" (his words, not mine) until he eventually had a serious exchange with one of the members at that website. Anyway, welcome back.
