I'm in the process of creating my own new YouTube Channel

OK, I am creating my own YouTube channel.
So far, as an experiment, I have uploaded only one video,
Why Do People Laugh At Creationists (Part 1) which is one of the videos by
Thunderf00t.
But I don't know how to move if from
Uploads to
Favorites. I am allowed to display other peoples' videos on
Favorites but on
uploads I should only display my own videos.
I might have to delete it until I can figure out how to move it to
Favorites.
Right now, I don't have a decent microphone or a camera, so I can't make motion picture videos right now.
Next month I will get a microphone and then I will be able to create my first video with still pictures and text and record my voice. On my first video I will talk about Astronomy my favorite subject, or it might be a political video on Intellectual & Academic freedom and the declining quality of education here in the USA, thanks to the Texas State Board of Education,or Indoctrination.
My new channel is titled . . .
Science Wins Creationism Loses
BigFatMan1951's Channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/BigFatMan1951
It has a black background with bright green text, and I will add some background graphics with galaxies and star clusters.
Here is what some of the text says so far.
INTELLECTUAL AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM - SUPPORTING SCIENTIFIC METHODOLOGY
About
This is my new channel. Sorry that I don't have any videos yet. I don't even have a camera and I only have one of those cheap mikes. Eventually I will get a camera and a better mike. My channel will be devoted to intellectual and academic freedom. I support the teaching of Darwin's Theory of Evolution and I resent all attempts by all of these Christian Funny-mentalists trying to insert Creationism, or "Creation Science" or so-called "Intelligent Design" or ID into the school science curriculum. I live in Texas, and I despise what has been going on in the Texas Board of Education (or should I say, Indoctrination?) and what is so sad is that my state has voted on the text books that might be used for the next 10 years, history books in which any mention of Thomas Jefferson has been removed to be replaced by John Calvin, a raving lunatic a few centuries ago who had people tortured in the name of his religion. Well, I'm really not surprised that these right-wing whack-jobs would admire John Calvin who used torture, because the Bush administration also authorized the use of torture on the prisoners at Gitmo. Not that I sympathize with Islamic terrorists mind you, because I don't, but only that I have always believed that the USA was suppose to be above the use of torture on captured prisoners. That is . . . until the Bush Administration. Like, what in the flying Hell is happening to my country? Don't tell me! I already know! I think!
Anyway, please do check it out and let me know what you all think.
Thank you.

Very nice channel there. I look forward to seeing some of your videos. I myself also have a YouTube channel which I have created a playlist of top 1981 videos on but have not actually uploaded any of my own. I don't really have any ideas for what to put on a video of my own so I just prefer to watch, comment on and favourite others' videos. Besides, all the great old songs have been uploaded years ago and have thousands or even millions of views.
Best regards,

OK, I just now learned how to trans-load (I guess that's what it's called) another person's video to my Favorites which is perfectly legal.
But I still don't know how to delete an up-loaded video from my channel.
The video I up-loaded is 01 Why do people laugh at creationists? (Part 1) and it has my user name BigFatMan1951 under it, because it's a video I had down-loaded and saved to my computer, and then up-loaded to my channel.
But it's NOT my creation. It was originally created by Thunderf00t and I want to delete it because I don't want to appear to be taking credit for another man's creation.
I still do not know how to delete a video from my channel.
I want to do this out of respect for Thunderf00t, then I will go to his video and trans-load it to Favorites so that his user name will appear under the video instead of mine.
I only want to display my own creations on Uploads while displaying other people's videos only on Favorites so that their user names appear under their videos.
I don't want to do a VenomFangX number on anybody else.
My God! This is so embarrassing!

OK, I have finally figured out how to delete a video. I had up-loaded a video by Thunderf00t, a video that I had saved to my computer, and although the video was originally created by Thunderf00t, it had my user name under it.
I don't want to take credit for another man's creation, so I deleted it. Next time I will go to his video and save it to favorites so that the Thunderf00t user name will appear instead of mine. I'm new at this and I finally got it figured out.
Now, all is Kosher.
Also I have just now added some background images of galaxies and star clusters.
Now my YouTube channel looks really cool.
OK, now I'm going back to saving videos by AronRa and Thunderf00t to Favorites where their user names will appear instead of mine.
Glad I got that mess straighten out.

You can check it out at:

Last night I added many videos to
Favorites, the 17 video series,
The Foundational Falsehoods of Creationism by
AronRa, and the 33 video series,
Why Do People Laugh At Creationists by
Thunderf00t.
These are featured in
Favorites where you are allowed to have display videos created by other users.
Right now I don't have any videos in
Uploads because I haven't created my own videos yet. In
Uploads, that's where you feature your own videos, while in
Favorites, that's where you're allowed to feature other users videos.
I need to get a new microphone, and eventually a camera.
Next month when I get a new microphone, I will be able to make videos with still pictures, text, and sound. Then when I finally get a video camera, I'll be able to make videos with motion pictures.
But until then . . .

OK, I now have a Feature Video.
Don McLeroy - The Creationist in Charge of Education in Texas
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGmli0YI1WI
My user name appears because I had downloaded this video from elsewhere on YouTube and saved it to my computer, then I uploaded it to my channel.
It is a NEWS clipping from ABC NEWS NIGHTLINE, and other people have it on their channels under their user names.
I needed to have a feature video, one that is relevant to the theme of my channel which has to do with academic and intellectual freedom.
You can either click on the link above or go to my channel page to see it as a featured video.
And under the video I posted the following
Info
March 11, 2010 on ABC Nightline:
Fundamentalist Christian dentist, Don McLeory, promotes drastic curriculum change for school textbooks in the state of Texas.
Among some of the proposed changes would be to remove any mention of Thomas Jefferson from the history textbooks and replace him with John Calvin, a raving maniac who a few centuries ago had people tortured in the name of his religion.
This of course this is not mentioned in the NEWS clipping on the video above, but many other purposed changes are mentioned.
Don McLeoroy was eventually voted out of the Texas State Board of Education, but it's too late, because the board has selected the textbooks that will be used for the next 10 years, so we're all screwed!
Then I re-edited the introductory text.
About
Welcome to my new channel. I'm now in the process of adding videos to Favorites. I don't have a camera yet and I only have a cheap mike. So, I now have one video in
Uploads and which is also my feature video, and I have 66 videos in
Favorites.
And of course, I added some background images of galaxies and star clusters.

Another update.
This morning I added some annotations to the feature video.
Don McLeroy - The Creationist in Charge of Education in Texas
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGmli0YI1WI
Annotations are little rectangular blocks with text, my own comments of the video and a cartoon balloon like you see in comic books so that sometime during the video for about a second Don McLeroy says "DUH! I'm a moron!" and then some more of my comments appear on the video.
So, now I'm learning how to edit videos.
Like, this is gonna be so fuckin' cool!!!

Are you going to upload any anti-sports videos? They're critically few in number on YouTube. I'm thinking of doing one for my first upload - any ideas on things to include?
