I remember, back in 1999 to 2005, I use to listen to The Phil Hendrie Show on the radio, then I started listening to his radio talk show on my computer.

Then sometime back in 2005 he announced that he was going to retire, but that his web site would still be up and subscribers can still log on and listen to the archived audio clips.

But then recently, I heard that he has come out of retirement as his doing his radio show again.

So, this morning I just re-subscribed to his web site again, for $6.95 per month for the Back Stage Pass which will allow me to listen to his live broad casts, audio and video clips and post comments on his web site.

I go by the user name FatMan. You can't have spaces in you user name.

The Phil Hendrie Show is sort of like a political talk show. Phil Hendrie is a liberal Democrat and the guests he has on his program come from may different walks of life.

Phil Hendrie is a year younger than I am. I was born September 30, 1951 while Phil Hendrie was born September 1, 1952 so we're of the same generation. Yeah, he's one of us baby boomers.

Today I was listening to an audio clip from Tuesday, January 4, 2011.

The two guests he had on his show were Jay Santos and Larry Grover.

Jay Santos is the head of The Citizens Auxiliary Police. He wears a blue armband and a white pit helmet, and he patrols his neighborhood, sort of like Neighborhood Watch. The guy is a real pompous ass!

Then there is Larry Grover, a member of Conservatives of Kern County, another real ass hole
Is there too much DNA exoneration going on? Jay Santos thinks so. Even though DNA evidence proved a man's innocence in Texas...after 30 years of incerceration....Jay believes it's better to just keep people in prison, even if they're innocent. Letting them go, he believes, "makes monkeys out of law enforcement." What would he say to a guy locked up for something he didn't do? "Tough toenails."

Later on Larry Grover talks about being fired from his job at Culver Print for sexual harassment. A new shop manager arrived and it was a female with a very large chest. So Larry started cavorting around the shop with two volleyballs shoved under his sweater entertaining his male coworkers. The woman walked in on this exhibition and promptly had him fired. Larry thinks that as long as you keep your prejudices to yourself it should be no problem. How was he to know this woman showed up for work on time, every morning, at 9am?
WOW! A couple of real assholes!

In fact, almost all of the guests Phil Hendrie has on his show are just plane assholes!

OK, the guests he has on his radio talk show are not real people! They're only just made up characters.

You see, Phil Hendrie does voice imitations!

So, all the guests he has on his program, they are ALL Phil Hendrie himself!

He can imitate any voice. He can do female voices, the voice of a black preacher, the voice of a retard named Bud Dickman, a young guy in his 20s who works at his radio station.

Sometimes the show is a real riot!

So, now, I'm back to listening to Phil Hendrie again.

To listen to Phil Hendrie, just go to: http://www.philhendrieshow.com/

While watching a video broadcast of the Phil Hendrie Show, I took these screen shots.

Here's the first one.
Image
When Phil Hendrie speaks as himself, he talks into the big microphone.

The second screen shot.
Image
When Phil Hendrie does his voice imitations, speaking as one of his many guests on his show, he talks into an ordinary telephone receiver.

And the third screen shot.
Image
When Phil Hendrie imitates the voice of Bud Dickman, one of his retarded "staff members" in his studio, or the voice of Bud Dickman's retarded side kick, another studio "employee" he cups his hand over his mouth while talking into the big microphone.

This is how Phil Hendrie is able to achieve different voice qualities so that it sounds like guests calling in on the telephone, or someone speaking across the room in his studio, or as himself.

His performance is as much fun to watch on video as it was listing to on the radio.

If you subscribe to his web site, you can listen to his many archived audio clips.

One of my most favorite characters is Steve Bosell a construction contractor who owns his own construction company in Corona California.

Perhaps the funniest episode is "Love And a 2x4"

Steve Bosell is a real moron! He's always filing frivolous lawsuits.

In this one particular episode, he saw a beautiful young Asian lady getting out of her Corvett, and he was aroused by seeing her unusually large breasts.

Well, being a faithful husband who would never cheat on his wife, he went into a wood shed to pleasure himself using the knothole in a 2x4.

He had coated the knothole with with some plumbers putty and WD40 as a lubricant. While pleasuring himself with the 2x4, he had fantasized something about what is known as the spinning Asian Love Chair, and so, he began rotating the 2x4 and as a result, he got splinters in his penis.

So now, Steve Bosell wants to file a lawsuit against the Tanner Lumber Company, the makers of WD40, and Willis Enterprise the makers of Paul's Plumbers Putty because they did not give any warnings about using their products as a sexual lubricant.

Steve Bosell says "It was a very nice 2x4, I treated it real good, why did it tread me so bad?"

That's just one of many hilarious episodes from the Phil Hendrie radio talk show.

Anyway . . . . .

I hope you all go to the web site and subscribe to the Phil Hendrie Show.

OK, now when are the rest of you jack balls going to respond to my topic?

Thanks for attaching the shots of Phil Hendrie. I was curious as to what he looked like. He certainly does a good job making voice imitations. He actually had me fooled once. I thought to myself, "Is this jerk for real?" Well, it turned out that he wasn't.

Pardon my ignorance, as my upbringing seems to have shielded me from hearing various colloquialisms and slang terms; but what is the meaning of "jack ball" (I hesitate to ask).

I really don't know, but it's a term Phil Hendrie uses.

I tried to do a Google search on jack balls and I only see the little red rubbers balls kids use for playing jacks.
