 My mother used to say that quite a lot -- never heard anyone say it but her! Guess it wasn't just a southern Ohio thing!

Just think ... you could have worn it to one of Michael Vick's dog fights.

(another good example of when spam can be fun)

Keep those goofy (or cute) pictures coming!

When the whole Michael Vick dogfighting story was at its peak, there's a chain of novelty clothing outlet stores called Big Dog around here, and they sell t-shirts, caps, etc., with -- you guessed it! -- big dogs as characters in the logos. They had a slew of anti-Vick t-shirts, showing him facing down very pissed-off dogs, with slogans like, "Now it's payback time, Mr. Vick!", etc. Some were quite humorous. :)

I took a look at their site (http://www.bigdogs.com) but couldn't find any of the Vick ones; those might be no longer stocked. I do recommend this one for Earl though:

Incidentally, how do you guys post photos/images in your postings? I tried to copy and paste the image in the last message (referring to the shirt for Earl) but I couldn't get it to paste, even with the Img button and tags. I couldn't find a topic on this in the FAQ? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

This is covered in the FAQ, but there are a lot of things in there, so it can be hard to find what you're looking for. The following link will take you to the point in the FAQ you need.

» Can I post images?
Yes, images can be shown in your posts. If the administrator has allowed attachments, you may be able to upload the image to the board. Otherwise, you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.example.com/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor images stored behind authentication mechanisms, e.g. hotmail or yahoo mailboxes, password protected sites, etc. To display the image use the BBCode [img] tag.

And duh! right there it is --if it'd been a snake, it'd have bit me by now!

I think it may not have been a publicly accessible server. Thanks, Skul, for helping clear things up. :)

Well, it appears that I have inadvertently turned someone's SPAM into another topic.

I have never seen anything like that happening at other forums.

Only here!

We are truly unique. :D :D :D

Looks like our website's become rather popular recently - at the moment we have 924 registered members! Is the whole world starting to turn against sports now? Or is there a different but slightly more disappointing explanation to all this?

Best regards,
