My Second Brand New YouTube Channel - BigFatHeretic

Post by Fat Man »

Good evening everybody:

I now have another brand new YouTube channel.

Image EVOLUTION! Doing My Part To Piss Off The Religious Right!
BigFatHeretic's Channel

http://www.youtube.com/user/BigFatHeretic

Of course, I still have my old original YouTube channel

ImageScience Wins! Creationism Loses! We have the fossils! WE WIN!
BigFatMan1951's Channel

http://www.youtube.com/user/BigFatMan1951

On my new channel I decided to call myself Big Fat Heretic!

(Actually, BigFatHeretic, because no spaces allowed in user names.)

But, in the meantime, I will have to re-upload my feature video to my new channel, and of course re-edit my annotations for my feature video, and re-favor all of my favorite videos from Thunderf00t, and AronRa, etc. etc. and my favorite videos on the Inquisition.

This time, of course, I'm going to do a much better job of arranging my Favorites and my Playlists on my new channel.

On my old channel, my user account is under my Net Zero E-mail address, while my new user account is under my SBC Global E-mail address, because, I haven't been keeping up with my yearly fee for Net Zero, so, I can't access my Net Zero anymore with my IncrediMail. I have to go to the Net Zero web site to access my E-mails on that account. But because my new channel is under my SBC Global E-mail, then, it will be more convenient for me since my IncrediMail is my default.

My new channel will be a mirror of my old channel, only this time, my Favorites and Playlists will be better arranged.

Well, I got to get back to work on my new channel, because there are no videos on it yet, so, I'm going to be rather busy this evening.

In the meantime, I will keep coming back here to check for new forum posts.

So, catch ya gators later!!!

Here is a video you may want to add to one of your playlists, or download yourself and add to YouTube with funny captions added to it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzrUt9CHtpY

It's a rather confused and mediocre speech by that guy Don McLeroy who has some seat in your state's board of education (or rather "had"?) about why the theories of scientific experts should be disregarded. I personally found it rather cringeworthy to watch as he evidently hasn't come up with a convincing argument of his own. You've probably already seen this but in case you haven't, here it is.

Thank you very much!

Last night I favored the entire 36 video series by Thunderfoot "Why To People Laugh At Creationists?" and I also have these videos on a separate Playlist as well as Favorites.

Right now I'm adding videos by AronRa "The Foundational Falsehoods Of Creationism" to Favorites and also to a separate Playlist.

This evening I'm going to make a Playlist for my favorite series of videos on the Inquisition.

I'm going to have mostly Playlists, because I don't want to clutter up Favorites with too many videos, because, if you have too many videos on a page, it takes too long to scroll down the page, and having to click on the button that says [Load More] which is so time consuming.

So, I'll probably have no more than 100 or so videos on Favorites.

Then, from now on, Instead of adding so many videos to Favorites, I'm going to make a Playlist for each set of videos that come in a series.

That's because in the future, Thunderf00t might add some more videos to his series "Why Do People Laugh At Creationists?" and I'll just add them to the Playlist where they'll be in a sequential order, because on Favorites, sometime newly added videos might appear out of sequence.

I'm also going to make a Playlist titled "Miscellaneous" for randomly favored single videos, and a Playlist for music videos.

So, this time around, my new channel will be better organized.

I saw the argument you and that MrBSD91 guy are having. What the hell is it with this guy? Why does he continue to keep pestering us over a year after the 4channers raided our forum? Does he think he's going to gain anything from it? Is he honestly stupid or self-righteous enough to believe that he can change a person by having a go at them over their YouTube profile? He seems fascinated with us, that guy. Perhaps he should join the forum if he's so willing to lecture us about how we should be. Some people just don't give up, do they?

Ahhhh...the old "well if evolution is true, why don't we see monkeys turning into people every day?" argument! Gotta love those creationists -- they can't be beat for persistence in dredging up completely discredited arguments over and over (and over...and over...) again!

OF COURSE there is stasis in the fossil record! That's because evolution occurs WHEN IT NEEDS TO based on the environment organisms live in. If the environment is relatively unchanged, so will be the life forms inhabiting it. When there's a change in environment, creatures evolve to adapt to it. "Punctuated equilibrium" is the term that just popped into my head that I believe is used to describe this effect.

"Someone has to stand up to experts" -- why yes, we can't have people who actually know something about their field teaching anyone else; we need more ignorant people to spread their uninformed views! That's what's gonna help us all!

What a dumbass this guy is -- am I to understand people actually elected this moron to his position?

Hey, thanks guys!

Thank you, I_like_1981 for providing the link to the video.

And . . .

Thank you, ChrisOH! You just gave me some ideas, for adding some annotations to the video after I have uploaded it to my channel.

I'm going to work on the right now.

First I have to download the video, save it to my computer, then upload the video to my YouTube channel, and then I can start editing the video with my annotations.

Thanks guys!

The reason they actually are experts is because they have an excellent understanding of the field they specialise in and people respect their knowledge. This McLeroy guy is running them down because he's just incompetent and needs to bring "experts" down to his level to make him feel better about himself. Seriously, I didn't even know what exactly he was trying to get at for the majority of the video. It's a really persuasive argument, isn't it, when your opponent's thinking "What on earth is this guy on about? What's he been smoking?"
What a dumbass this guy is -- am I to understand people actually elected this moron to his position?
Last I heard, he was no longer in that position any more. However, I also heard that he had a say in choosing the education textbooks for the next decade or so in his state, so the damage is done already...

I now have six Playlists on my channel. I finished adding three of them this evening.

Thank you I_like_1980 for the link to the Don McLeroy video. Late last night I finished adding my annotations to the video.

And thank you ChrisOH for giving me some ideas for my video annotations.

Anyway, here is my list of Playlists, so far.

Why People Laugh At Creationists
A series of videos by Thunderf00t on Astronomy, Physics, Paleontology, Biology, and Evolution. There are 36 videos in this series. Thunderf00t may add more videos, so any new videos added to his series will be added here to this Playlist instead of my Favorites.

Falsehoods Of Creationism
A series of 17 videos by AronRa about the controversies between Evolution and Creationism

The Inquisition
A series of 20 videos by athephi on The Inquisition which documents the Church's efforts to consolidate its power by stamping out heterodoxy and heresy through the office of the Inquisition. The history of the Inquisition is traced across different periods and geographies, from medieval France to its present day incarnation as the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Oh! How nice! The Office Of The Inquisition still exists, only now, it's been renamed, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Uh huh! It doesn't get better than that! Eh?

Galileo And The Inquisition
This playlist will contain many series of videos on the history of Galileo, the Roman Catholic Church, and the Inquisition. As time goes on, this Playlist will be updated with more new videos.

A Galileo Cartoon - Cute!
Here is a rather cute little cartoon about Galileo. Enjoy!

The Galileo Case - Catholic Church, Enemy of Science?
A white-washed account of the trial of Galileo, the Catholic Church, and the Inquisition. Yeah! Some pro-Catholic propaganda! I'm actually ashamed to have put up this Playlist! Sorry about that! I feel I must apologize to the viewers of this Playlist!

Well, that's it so far.

Yeah, I had to add a Playlist giving the other side of the history from the viewpoint of the Catholic Church. I was going to add the videos my Playlist titled Galileo And The Inquisition but when I started viewing them, it looked like some pro-Catholic propaganda giving a white-washed account of the Inquisition, so I felt the need to make a separate Playlist titled The Galileo Case - Catholic Church, Enemy of Science?and so, all the pro-Catholic propaganda garbage will be sent to that Playlist, which I had put up, with apologies to my viewers.

I really am sorry about that!

Well, I got to go back to doing some more work on my new channel.

I'll be looking for more videos about Galileo, and also adding some more Playlists.

Catch ya gators later!

I have added some more Playlists to my new YouTube channel.

More Whitewashed Accounts Of The Inquisition
OK, here is another Playlist with some sorry-ass videos giving a more whitewashed account of the Inquisition. Yeah! There are actually apologists in, or for, the Catholic Church who deny how bad the Inquisition really was. Apparently we have Inquisition deniers just as we have Holocaust deniers. This is another Playlist I'm ashamed of, but sometime we need to see the ugly side, so, again, my apologies to the viewers. Sorry about that!

Slave Sermons!
Here is a series of what is now 28 videos, but more is always being added each week, and I will update this playlist as more videos are added. These videos are produced by Jeremiah Camara (YouTube user name, camara714) who I like to call, The Black Carl Sagan, because he is very intellectual and well educated in history and science. He talks about how African Americans have not only been oppressed by white racists, but how blacks are also being oppressed by their own religious church ministers in the black churches, which amounts to brainwashing, and which continues to enslave American blacks.

CReation Astronomy Propaganda - CRAP Debunked!
WARNING! These videos contain traces of severe stupidity and frequent scenes of graphic ownage! Viewer discretion advised. - An excellent series of videos exposing the stupidity of religious funny-mentalists creationists. Educational and entertaining. Enjoy!

Creationist Junk Debunked
These videos cover some more Creationist Crapola to be debunked.

Science Made Easy
The following series of videos takes something as complex as science and makes it easier to understand.

Science Made Easy (For Schools)
The following series of videos takes something as complex as science and makes it easier to understand.

The Scopes Monkey Trial
The famous 1925 trial of John Scopes in Dayton Tennessee became known as the "Monkey Trial". John Scopes was arrested for teaching evolution. This breached the Tennessee anti-evolution law known as the Butler Act. The trial itself received national attention as it was not only one of the first ever court cases which was broadcast live on radio but pitted famous lawyer, Clarence Darrow against past presidential candidate William Jennings Bryan.

DNA - The Search For Adam
New DNA studies suggest that all humans descended from a single African ancestor who lived some 60,000 years ago. To uncover the paths that lead from him to every living human, the National Geographic Society launched the Genographic Project, headed by Spencer Wells. This study will combine population genetics and molecular biology to trace the migration of humans from the time we first left Africa, 50,000 to 60,000 years ago, to the places where we live today. Ten research centers around the world have received funding from the Waitt Family Foundation to collect and analyze blood samples from indigenous populations (such as aboriginal groups), many in remote areas. The Genographic Project hopes to collect more than a hundred thousand DNA samples to create the largest gene bank in the world. Members of the public are also being invited to participate. "Our DNA tells a fascinating story of the human journey: how we are all related and how our ancestors got to where we are today," Wells said. "This project will show us some of the routes early humans followed to populate the globe and paint a picture of the genetic tapestry that connects us all."

Evolution - Darwin's 'Dangerous' Idea
Why does Charles Darwin's "dangerous idea" matter more today than ever, and how does it explain the past and predict the future of life on Earth? The program interweaves the drama of Darwin's life with current documentary sequences, introducing key concepts of evolution.

Was Darwin Right Or Wrong?
When Charles Darwin wrote The Origin Of Species, he was unaware of genetics and the fossil record had only just begun to be uncovered. This explanatory framework has become the central platform of all aspects of modern biology in explaining the diversity of life on this planet. Was Darwin right or did he get it wrong? How does Darwin's theory of natural selection hold up after 150 years of scrutiny under the the rigor of the scientific method? Here we examine the key aspects of Darwin's work, which if falsified, would be the greatest scientific upheaval in history. Every home should have the National Geographic Channel.

More Science vs Creationism! (Random video selections)
This is a more or less random selection of videos on the political controversy between science, evolution, religion, creationism, rotten politics as usual, and how it effects the quality of education in our schools. I live in Texas, and my home state has become a real hot-bed of political issues when it comes to education in Texas public schools. Right-wing Funny-mentalists Christards would like nothing more than to control what is being taught in Texas schools. This Playlist will be updated with more randomly selected videos, so, please do keep coming back.

What Will Always Make A Creationist Look Stupid?
A series of videos by RedDevilFFM2 on science, evolution, and creationism, and what makes creationists look stupid!

10 stupid creationist questions and 10 intelligent answers
A series of videos by RedDevilFFM2 which offer 10 intelligent answers to 10 stupid creationist questions.

Creationist Stupidity!
Some rather amusing videos by ZuluFightrunner exposing creationist stupidity. Listen to some slap-stick music on the first few videos while watching all the creationist morons on parade! Enjoy!

Creationist Lies!
A couple more videos by ZuluFightrunner. Hopefully more will be added to this series.

More Creationist Stupidity And Outright Lies!
A series of videos by diagoras54

I will be adding some more Playlists to my channel.

Well, I made another new friend on my YouTube channel who goes by the user name ghostworld420

To honer his request, I placed the following symbol on my channel page.

NO! THIS IS NOT A CHRISTIAN CROSS!

-------â? â? â? â? -------Please
-------â? â? â? â? -------place
-------â? â? â? â? -------this
â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â?  symbol
â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â? â?  on
-------â? â? â? â? -------your

-------â? â? â? â? -------to proclaim

-------â? â? â? â? -------have an old-fashioned
--------------clothes line in your yard.

Well, I don't have an old fashion clothes line in my yard, but I placed this up anyway to honor the request of another new YouTube friend, ghostworld420

Again, this is NOT a Christian cross, but only an old fashion clothes line post. OK?

So far, he only has one uploaded video since it's still a new channel, but he has all kinds of music videos on his Favorites.

PRAISE the Laundry!!!
