The People Have Spoken! No Sports!

Post by Ray »

The general public is OK with High School sports --as long as they don't have to pay for it. This vote shows how little regard the average citizen has for high school sports!

down with high school sports!
Sports contribute nothing to society. They are a waste of time, money, effort and TV channels! It's just a bunch of buffed up, fat headed, idiotic jocks chasing a ball around.

If cheerleading were any easier... It would be called football!

Why makes high-school sports useful in the first place?
"We believe in Vader, the Darth almighty, destroyer of Alderaan and the Sith. We believe in Luke, his only son, our Jedi. He was concieved by the power of the Force, and born of the senator Padme. Suffered under Darth Sidius, electrocuted, survived and partied with Ewoks. He descended to the Death Star, on the third hour he flew out in an Imperial ship and landed on Endor. He is seated on the right hand of Obi-Wan's ghost. He will come again to train Leia to be a Jedi. We believe? in Yoda.........:D

In that thread I clearly stated, for the most part.

Sports aren't constructive? How so?

LMAO

Sports is considered constructive by 99.9% of people not on this board. That's how it's constructive.

Probably constructive in the way of constructing a procedure when they get brain damage when they get hit in the head or get their leg shattered. Though I already think they had brain damage in the first place.

A belief of the masses is not a valid argument.

Especially since Detroitsportsbore probably pulled that figure out of his ass.

Yeah, that Regular title is a new thing. Anyone with a minimum of one hundred posts is automagically 'promoted' to Regular (unless they have a custom title, like me, Ray, or the sports bores).

Because sports are not a necessary component of schools. Kids are confused enough without their brains simply being told to accept that combination as logical. See this for more information: http://www.sportssuck.org/school.htm
