I hate sports with a passion!

Its so stupid people expect me to root for the Jets or Giants just because im a new yorker! And when i say i don't watch sports they give me a stupid look like "Oh he isnt normal" It makes me upset!

I don't know why my brother makes fun of me just because i prefer to read books and play Everquest rather than watch 2 hours of Full Grown men who cheated there way through school tackle eachother its stupid!

It's to the point when I can't even turn on the regular news without having to hear about the Superb owl anymore. Don't they have their own TV channels for that? I'm trying to be informed on current events and I'm having my evening newscast dumbed-down for people that don't even watch the news.

I raged so hard today and typed "sports suck" into Google and came across this site. I was a little hesitant at first because I really don't feel sometimes my voice means anything. It's just something I've had problems with since I was younger and got picked on when I tried to participate in games and sports. I've read through a lot of your threads though and must say that I can actually find a home in this place.

Yeah, I hear you there. Is it like this often? Is that's why it's so slow. I don't think my posts are going through the first time I make them.

I really don't understand why so much time and money goes into sports. "Ooh I'm faster and more physically-gifted than you, let me treat you like crap while I make money". It's sick. They really are like mindless cattle. Just going along their simple, mundane lives until it's their time.

I almost say just butcher them like cattle, but that's too much. I love a hamburger or two a lot of the time, but burgers made out of these meatheads probably tastes spoiled. lol

Hi Hank and Kevin!

The local team is actually IN the Stupor Bore. I can barely read the paper anymore, and I'm avoiding the news these days, for the most part (except maybe the weather sometimes, and even then they spend half the time telling me what the weather will be like in Miami ). They're cancelling and rescheduling everything around here to make room for the Stupor Bore. Even next week's garbage pickup is going to be affected! Has anybody here had a team in the Stupor Bore before? Is this kind of thing normal?

I can't even go to the store without seeing team crap everywhere, and listening to stupid team-related songs. BLAH.
