Car crash...

Post by Skul »

I just found out my sister's been in a crash on the motorway. She and her boyfriend were in the car. I was told that they're okay, but damn... I was really scared, there... :(

My parents have went to collect them. I'm just staying here trying to calm down... I'm shaking... I know they're okay, but that was a hell of a shock. :/

I also just got a call. They've arrived at the scene and the police are there, obviously. They're going to see what the police say and then head back.

I'm very sorry to hear about that, Skul. It must have been a terrible shock for you - the motorway is such a terrible place to have a crash on. I don't want to risk saying too much for fear of causing upset to you or coming off sounding cheap, but I hope nothing worse comes of this.

Best regards,

I'm just glad nobody was seriously hurt.

Please keep us posted on any further developments.

Another call. They're at the hospital just to make sure that nothing was missed. My mum said it was surprisingly busy for a Monday night, so God knows how long they're going to be there.

Glad to hear they're alright. It can get pretty worrying knowing that someone was in a car accident, you never know how bad it is until you hear the details of it, it can be quite shocking until then.

I just came across this topic, Skul. That's a terrible scare. I have a sister with whom I've been close for decades. She once was feared to possibly have bone cancer, but that turned out to be a false alarm. So, I know how you feel. I'm truly sorry that your sister and her boyfriend were in this traffic accident. I've been in a car wreck myself. I trust that the doctors will find no injuries of any kind. I think they'll be fine. I'm quite relieved that they weren't seriously hurt. Please keep us posted about this.

Hey, all. Update.

Well, they got back just after midnight. Nothing was seriously wrong with them. My sister's jaw hurt a bit and her boyfriend had a sore neck, but that was as serious as it got. Earlier this morning, she and him went off on holiday together (can't remember where -- I'll edit once I do). What luck, eh? In an accident less than a day before going on holiday. Well, thankfully, it didn't get any more serious than that.

Here's hoping the situation continues to improve, Skul.
