Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day!
How was your Valentine's Day? I'm not in a relationship, so I didn't really do anything with anybody. I would have been busy anyways, but I gave out Valentine's Day cards and that was still fun. I even found one for Fatman. Happy Valentine's Day!

I take it, that this is suppose to be an apology for the time you had said in one of my topics . . .
February 12th is Charles Darwin's Birthday!!!

Well, sending another guy a Valentines greeting is kind of gay.Safety wrote:What's so important about Charles Darwin and Galileo? They were both wrong and are now burning in Hell.
But, if this is meant as an apology, I guess I can accept it.
OK, now see if you can find me one with Galileo!
I think you also owe him an apology as well.

Re: Happy Valentine's Day!
Safety, you've given me my biggest laugh today!
(So have Fat Man and Skul.) I love the Charles Darwin Valentine's Day card; and I'm certain that Fat Man appreciates it, too. (I see that the fingers in your avatar have been observing Valentine's Day as well.) I might even let you get that "no tail" cat.
Hey, Skul, Valentine's Day could also be called "Singles Awareness Day."
Mrs. Earl and I had a nice day this Valentine's Day, and I took her out to a Red Lobster restaurant for lunch so she wouldn't have to cook. (One of these days I've got to learn how to cook.) Anyway, we had a great lunch. But I inadvertently sat in front of a TV set that was suspended from the ceiling and happened to be tuned to an ESPN cable channel, I believe. The program that was being broadcast as we ate was about the latest in professional football. (Hey, I thought the football season was over.
) I'm sure that Fat Man would have enjoyed watching this show.

And the good news is that you can get chocolate at half the price tomorrow.

But he still owes Galileo and apology yet!
I'm still waiting for him to find a Valentine with Galileo on it.
I'll even accept it if it's a couple of days late.

You sound like my dad, Earl! He'd always buy my mother candy on Feb. 15 since it was discounted (of course, he had to get a card/flower, etc., on the 14th itself if he wanted to avoid sleeping in the garage that night!Earl wrote:

Re: Happy Valentine's Day!
Ah, you're back rather sooner than I expected, Safety. Just couldn't resist seeing what your little comment in Fat Man's Darwin/Galileo thread had stirred up.
Well, as you may expect, Valentine's Day was absolutely exhausting for me. I couldn't even move across my office the other day without having some pretty girl swoon over me. My desk was so bogged down with cards and chocolates that I could see its legs buckling, and I left work yesterday smeared with lipstick and covered in sweat. When I got home someone had drawn a huge love heart with lipstick on my door. What a day.

Best regards,

Re: Happy Valentine's Day!
LOL! I forgot it was Valentine's Day again.

"We believe in Vader, the Darth almighty, destroyer of Alderaan and the Sith. We believe in Luke, his only son, our Jedi. He was concieved by the power of the Force, and born of the senator Padme. Suffered under Darth Sidius, electrocuted, survived and partied with Ewoks. He descended to the Death Star, on the third hour he flew out in an Imperial ship and landed on Endor. He is seated on the right hand of Obi-Wan's ghost. He will come again to train Leia to be a Jedi. We believe? in Yoda.........

I'll even accept it if it's a couple of days late. And what would such a Valentine's Day card say? "I've got you in my sight (telescopically) because I love you"?
