My main problem is with Fit Shit right now.

He keeps saying that I'm a disgrace humanity, when I have never done anything illegal, and I have never harmed another person, and I only wanted to get an education, to be allowed to finish school.

I'm a disgrace to humanity because I'm fat, because I'm physically handicapped with a crippled up left knee, and I'm no good at sports.

There's a major difference between you and Fit Man, and it's this: you are fairly direct when you go about trying to insult someone. It's so blatantly obvious that it's not really a problem. In Fit Man's arguments there's a certain ambient nastiness that never really goes away. He just spews negativity, exhaling it with the CO-2. I can't stand to read that kind of incessant noise. Even in your post, above, you don't call Fat Man or me "stupid"; you call our actions "stupid." You'll never be on Fit Man's plane, Brigan.

At the end of the day it's not a question of courage versus cowardice. It's a case of me finding someone so unpleasant that the mute button has become necessary for me to preserve my sanity.

Brigan: There is no rationalizing with these people, especially the Fatass one. They will always hate sports simply because they were given a hard time by athletes at school. No matter how much evidence you bring up that athletes aren't inherently bad, and that people who aren't athletes can still be worthless pieces of shit (like Fat Man), they will still refuse to listen.

In a very real way, I've never hated sports in my life -- although I never had an interest in them, not even when I was a young boy. And I've never hated people. I've always thought that hating people or wishing them ill is wrong, even when the individual is inclined towards evil (such as David Duke, for example). I have had shortcomings in other areas of my life; and I still do, as is true of everyone else. And I won't put anyone in this forum on "Ignore."

I joined this forum because it was giving an opportunity of critics of the culture associated with popular school sports to express their views -- which are not tolerated by some, if not many, sports fans. I also appreciated the opportunity to express the nonathlete's view of the old "sports only" mandatory P.E., which did much to needlessly and pointlessly encourage bullying. (Incidentally, as a result of my involvement in this website, I learned about the movement to reform P.E. and promote fitness for those students who are the most unfit, such as myself when I was a boy.)

But I never wanted to go along with hating people. If the home page of this website had read "Welcome, Jock Haters" instead of "Welcome, Sports Haters," I never would have supported it; and I wouldn't be here today.

Well, I had to put Fit Shit on ignore because I just can't stand anymore of his bullshit.

I was getting tired of his moronic babbling and his imbecilic drooling and slobbering all over my computer's monitor screen. I had to wipe the drool off the screen every time his forum posts appeared, but now that I have Fit Shit on ignore, I don't have to keep wiping the drool off my screen since I'll no longer see anymore of his crap.

Also, I don't have to put up with the smell from his shitty diapers anymore!

If anybody tries to call me a coward, well, when I do fear something, it's not because I'm a coward. For example: I don't fear all snakes. I actually like reptiles and I once had a king snake as a pet, but I do fear rattlesnakes, and for a good reason. They're poisonous.

No, the real cowards are the big strong jocks who like to bully people around who can't defend themselves. Most jocks (OK, not all, but most) jocks and most (OK, not all) sports fans are low-life cowardly scum.

They like to refer to anybody who doesn't like sports as "fags" and questioning their masculinity.

But too me, basketball looks kind of effeminate, because it's nothing more than just a bunch of tall skinny guys all prancing around in their loose-fitting baggy boxer shorts.

And most football players who are bullies are actually the real cowards.

That's because many of them rape women, and they bully people around who are smaller and physically weaker.

Also, most jocks and sports fans actually fear what they don't understand.

Anything that is way beyond the comprehension of their simple little minds, they hate and fear it, and they want to destroy it!

Now, I hate sports, not because I fear sports, but because football is ugly, repulsive, and it smells bad, and I resent having it forced on me.

I wouldn't hate sports so much if only the jocks and sports fans would just simply go ahead, and enjoy their sports, and simply not bother with those of us who don't happen to share their same interest.

If you put aside your opinions on who is wrong and who is right on this forum which happens to have no influence on anything that happens in the real world, you should realize that Fat Man has done no harm to anybody and calling him a disgrace to humanity is quite the overstatement. This is just a small Internet forum, and anything somebody says on it can't make them a disgrace to humanity, it has no effect on the real world. It is a persons actions in real life that matter, and maybe you'll say that he's a disgrace to humanity because he receives money from social security services. But keep in mind that he's disabled, and it would be unreasonable to expect him to earn enough money to live off of by other means. Also, the money he receives is not a substantial amount at all. Yes, when I was going to school, sports was not an option for me, so I needed to hit the books and study.

One does not have to be an athlete to be a science teacher or college professor. One can even be in a wheelchair and still teach.

But first, one must be allowed to say in school, and finish one's education, and not be discriminated against, and not be thrown out of school just for having a physical handicap or not being good at sports.

Yeah! First they throw me away, dispose of me as if I were no good and worthless, just because I could not do sports, then after being thrown away, I get called garbage.

Or a disgrace to humanity, which amounts to the same thing.
