I think what he means is that the spaceship in your picture is a phallic symbol. To quote an unabridged dictionary's definition of this psychoanalyitcal term, a phallic symbol is "any object, as a cigar or skyscraper, that may broadly resemble or represent the penis, esp. such an object that symbolizes power, as an automobile."
