I wrote a Declaration of Independence from sports.

Post by Dead_Decoy »

A few days ago in English, we were given the assignment to declare independence and write a formal document stating independence from anything we chose. Naturally, I chose sports. I'll get the paper and try and carbon-copy it onto here. I think it's pretty good, as I modelled it after the actual Dec. of Independence.

Nice! :)

Is the teacher pro- or anti-sports, do you know?

I can just imagine if your teacher was pro sports and gave you a bad mark just because of it. That would be the worst thing imaginable. But they can't do that, at least I hope they cant... i dunno, sports fans are stupid though so you never know, hopfully they arn't a sports fan. good luck :)
Sports contribute nothing to society. They are a waste of time, money, effort and TV channels! It's just a bunch of buffed up, fat headed, idiotic jocks chasing a ball around.

If cheerleading were any easier... It would be called football!

Actually, she loved it. I'm just waiting her to grade it before I can bring it home and type it up here.
