What's really funny is that we have no way of knowing for sure that our new member is really what he represents himself to be. His persona could be the fictional creation of <gasp> a nerd, or he really is a professional boxer (which is my assumption). Board messaging really is a role-playing game, just like Dungeons and Dragons.

Earl,
If this joker is for real, he's set a new level of animosity and contempt for non-sports people and I for one think that he should be banned from the forum, he's degrading and nothing good can come from him being a part of this forum. Just my opinion.

I respect your opinion. I noticed that he was online earlier this evening. I assume that he was reading other posts and looking at different features of this website. But he did not post again. Whether he ever does post again remains to be seen. If he does, perhaps he will take a different approach. I've had a change of heart at a website before. I did the same thing that he did: Came in with a lot of anger. But then I regretted it. Let's see what happens, if anything.

Ok. This has to be one of the biggest douchebag statements I have ever seen in my life.Mikaela_The_Pansy_Faggot definetly does not have mountains of cash and she knows fucking knows it.In reality all the doucher has to her name is two one dollar bills and some pocket lint. I think that she needs to stop trying so hard and get the fuck out.

Really annoyed I missed this guy! I've not been on here for a few weeks and we finally get one of those sports morons coming on properly talking shit on here. I could have used some of that good old foul language that so shocked our friends Troy, Steven and Cody on the guestbook in March. Pity I showed up too late... did he have anything useful or meaningful to say? At all?
Best guestbook comment ever!:

I THINK ALL SPORTS ARE TOTAL RUBBISH. THEY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM TV. THEN ALL PEOPLE WHO TAKE PART IN THE SPORTS SHOULD BE PUT AGAINST A WALL AND SHOT AND KILLED.

Your own contribution to the fray would have been welcomed and most appreciated. Fat Man also regretted missing his debut, but mike_the_pain_train did respond (albeit rather briefly) in Fat Man's topic "TRAIN WRECK!!!" As far as having anything useful or meaningful to say? As you can see, no, not really; but he was entertaining.

Fat Man, if he had such a great life like he says he has, he would be out doing his beloved bocksing rather than waisting our thyme on this bored. He talks like a rough, tough hard lad but I bet in a full-blown fight, Katrin or abitagirl could kick his ass. People who boast are those who tend to lie. I am 100% certain he's lying here. And hopefully one of these days, he'll come back here and we'll talk him down MAJOR. I hope he comes back. Try and get him to come back. Idiots like him will not last as intellectually, the nerds are always one step ahead of the jocks.

By the way Mike, this is for you in case you come back - bring it on, dickhead. Geno is ready and waiting to give you a right decking.

Are you sure?

It seems as though he's come in here, created enough suspension of disbelief that he's possibly a dumb jock archetype, and gotten several people to fight with him. You say you're sure he's not who he says he is, Mike 'the Pain Train', boxer/soccer pro extraordinaire. But who do you think he really is? What's more likely, that he's a less successful, slightly smarter version of this Mike the Pain Train character, who boxes and plays soccer and picks on "nerds"? Or that he's just some guy who invented the Mike the Pain Train character because it would effectively get everyone's attention and get under their skin just right?

It seems to me that he was a few steps ahead of everyone else the whole time.

He created "suspension of disbelief"? He didn't do that for me. I take people at face value. He was obviously an ignorant moron. Or as obviously a moron as one can be in print. And he got pounded and hasn't been back since. Simple as that.

Geno's right. We're always a step ahead of jocks. And always will be.

Craig, I don't mean to pile on; but you're being a little bit unfair here. Suppose, for example, that someone visited a Jewish website and posted anti-Semitic messages and members of the website responded appropriately or in kind. Would it really make any difference if the visitor actually were an anti-Semite or if he were just a creep posing as one? Of course, it wouldn't. Words mean something. The result is the same. Come on, now. I think the members who responded to mike_the_pain_train did fine. They actually showed wit, and mike continued to do his part to continue the show.

As for me (and I may be naive about this as someone who just started posting at websites recently), I prefer dealing honestly with people without having any intention to deceive anyone. My own personal experience has been that I've received greater benefits by leveling with most people and communicating with them openly. I don't believe in playing games in interpersonal relationships. Games are for children.
