Nick is a teenage boy. Teenagers find reasons to pick on each other no matter what and the other kid started it.
Your posts always make me laugh, Nick, whether u intend for them to be funny or not. U make me think of a 17 year old cousin I have. 
He would do this.

When I was a teenage kid, I didn't pick on other kids, and I didn't start fights.
Yes, I would retaliate. If some kid started picking on me, I would think of some insults to come back with, and if another kid started beating up on me, I would defend myself.
Of course, I lost more fights than I won, but I stood up for myself.
But I didn't go around picking on kids who were either smaller, or weaker, or not as smart.
It was only when jocks picked on me, then I would come back with insults concerning their level of intelligence and really rip them a new one!
But then, they deserved it for being such retards!
