I happened to glance at the bottom of the forum, and noticed that on July 5, 2007, there were 73 users online at the same time, which makes me wonder what was going on. Massive troll invasion?

No, it was at the height of the Samdaman Wars. Ironically (as much as I hate to admit it, but still laugh about it), guys like him give life to the forum. Life is strange.

By the way, I was on here earlier today and saw that there were 26 users online.

Yet only one of them was registered. Can't remember whose name showed up, but I wasn't logged in at the time. The other 25 were guests. This leads me to believe that something must have gone wrong with the counter.

I mean, I'd never seen more than 8 on here before. And about two minutes before that, I only saw two users online. A bit too sudden to be possibly true, as this board is low-profile.

Just thought I'd mention it. Not that it's really any use.

But I don't think there could have been 73 people online at the same time. Unless Samdaman really is as popular as he claims to be and managed to get all his mates on here for a quick laugh at the site. But if that were so, wouldn't they have bombarded the boards with crap?

No, I don't believe that it was a matter of Samdaman really being as popular as he claimed to be. Personally I don't believe that most of those 73 visitors online were Samdaman's friends. I think they had probably heard about the conflict at our website and wanted to see what was going on. They wanted action. They wanted to see a fight! There was even an element of drama. "Will Samdaman finally be banned? Will the latest attempt to ban him succeed? Tune in tomorrow to find out!" So, when Spammy was finally banned for good, the show was over; and there went our audience.

That's quite a good way of thinking about it, Earl. But I'm glad he was banned and the so-called "drama" swiftly ended. He deserved it. The admins were too lenient. I mean, imagine if we came onto a sports forum and started delivering some of the hateful drivel he consistently spouted. Some of the stuff Samdaman put on here was more than just nasty, it was psychopathic, and I'm sure it would have been acceptable justification for the involvement of law enforcement. Look at all the threatening, abusive comments he put on the guestbook. It is proof that jocks are allowed to get away with anything. With this being a low-profile site, it was probably an invitation for him to come along and try and lord himself over everyone here. A true idiot. It's because of people like him why the Sports Suck site exists. They just can't accept the fact we don't care for sports. They feel that bullying us is going to change our minds and make us "see the light" somehow; to be honest, I can't think of a worse way to do that than unleashing a torrent of abuse upon everyone. It's only supporting our stereotypes of jocks - it makes us more right. So we can thank this guy for proving once and for all this site has a purpose - to show up jocks for the intolerant, rabid morons they really are.
