But, Ray, you just don't understand. Don't you see? This wonderful version of the periodic table is intended to encourage all high-school students to learn the symbols of all the chemical elements. So, from now on this periodic table of sports will be featured in ALL chemistry and physics textbooks. If you'd like, I could get an enlarged copy for you to display in the living room of your home for everyone to see.

Earl I would rather replace the team logos with something of more "interest." Like different types of swords or types of animals.

Maybe you should just root for Andy. The rest of the team could be rapist thugs. Personally i support individual people rather then being prejudice and assuming the whole team is comprised of like minded people (see it can work both ways)

Actually, you're right, rotten. You do have a point. Prejudice can (and does) work both ways. You may be prejudiced, but you're also reasonable and fair-minded. I was just trying to encourage Andy. Everyone who works hard at some undertaking or endeavor appreciates being encouraged.

No, that's the RESULT of football. Football is played by crouching in front of the players on the other team, slamming into them, and then standing around for an interminable amount of time. Oh, and I think a ball is thrown during that time too. And at some point some guy runs into an end zone with a ball so he can score some points, after which he dances around like an idiot.

Another way to score points is by kicking a field goal. How they come to the decision to do that, I have no idea. Maybe they decide they're tired of running around and standing around, and want to do something different? Anyway, then eventually the game ends, and that's when the fans leave the stadium to go destroy the city.

And that's how you play football.
